Despite years of relapses, treatment centers, and emotional turmoil, he found recovery by fully surrendering to a higher power and embracing service to others. A gifted musician and deeply intelligent, Kevin's life changed when he immersed himself in the AA program, studying the Big Book and sponsoring others, which brought him connection, peace, and a renewed sense of purpose.
