After numerous failed attempts to control or quit drinking, a moment of clarity in 1989 led him to rehab and ultimately to AA, where he began to understand the spiritual nature of the disease and his powerlessness over alcohol. Today, Chris embraces service, connection, and a Higher Power, finding purpose in his work at a hospice and sharing the message of hope.
